Hey Zedder! I've been wondering when you would stop by again.

How are the cars looking so far? Have you seen a cyber grey one yet?

gm could get some money back out of those cars rather than scrapping them. if they sold them with a disclaimer, there would be no problem selling them. there would be so many collecter car buffs buyingthose up. i would definately add one to my collection.

Can't do it. There would be so many idiots lining up to sue them it wouldn't even be funny.

So this very well could have been a V8.

Only one person has ever been known to definitively say that there was a supercharged IVER camaro... But that was quickly silenced. That car was supposedly being tested at the phoenix proving grounds. That pic was taken in phoenix.

Duh duh duuuuuh.

Also, Scott has loosely implied that a supercharged car was in the works but ultimately cast aside.... for now.
With all the problems GM is facing, it is easy to see them scrapping anything above the current SS for the foreseeable future..

hence the waiver and documents stating car is not drivable and use it as a show piece/collector car.

I hear what you're saying, but there is just too much risk. Just imagine, some high power lawyer and a cocky judge who wants to prove a point goes after them after someone is in a wreck or the car catches on fire or whatever. Too much exposure even with the waivers.

It's probably not even legal for them to sell them. They can't sell a car that hasn't passed safety standards.

thats why i said it would have to be used and titled as a show car. kinda like the old nissan skyline gtr 34's. you could buy them from japan but they had to have a show car title, and were not used for street legal use.
and actually if they cant sell them they could auction them off for charity and have disclosures and waivers stating the use. as long as things would be in paperwork there is no way someone can try to sue with proper wording.
im just sayin it would be alot better than scraping millions or hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of camaro's. put them to good use. like my garage(or living room)

This was rhetorical, yes?

Did I mention "Heritage" before? I did. History needs an accurate and detailed capture, before it disappears into the cloudy memories of those that witnessed it.

I'm sure there will be a day that the full story can be told. Any supporting documentation makes the process that much easier.

(yes, I put my Spock ears on, tonight. Live long, and PROSPER!!)

here's the problem - YOU could sign a waiver -- but when YOU sell it -- or you die and your heirs sell it -- the waiver is now void under U.S. law.

(do you REALLY think that we've not looked at EVERY angle? Trust me - we need every penny we can put our hands on..........)

Scott, at the very least, please have them save the pre-production headlights for posterity

GM could always part it out and sell a few key components of the car. Have the team sign the parts and sell them off to us idiots who would gladly pay stupid money for them.

May I begin the bidding? $1,000 for the drivers side fender of the SC car.....
