Honestly I hadn't worried about it much and hadn't even thought about taking it in. I guess I will now. The dealership I bought from has been great with the previous stuff I've brought to them so I'm pretty sure they'll fix it without gripe. But yea, I think over time the cloth stretched due to my bony ass but the foam is fine. Probably just needs the cloth to be tightened/glued/fasted down and good to go.

the cloth in my dad 97 suburban is still in extremely good condition...i believe the driver seat has a wrinkle or two in it, but it is almost 12 years old, and my mom drove it for almost 5 years, and she isn't a small woman... but all of the other seats are perfect, aside from the dirt and dog stains, we throw our dog in the truck when we take him places and his drool along with dirty paws does a number to the cloth, especially if you don't clean it right away...

and my moms 07 trailblazer's leather is in GREAT condition, and seems like it will out last the suburbans...it just feels like a better material

I LOVE GM vehicles, and particularly Chevy's, but would buy any GM vehicle if I had the $$...Hopefully, one day, soon enough, a 5th Gen CAMARO! Dave_O

I do have to say I was a little worried about the quality of the seats at first. I think that GM's seats had gone downhill as of recent. I really prefer the last generations silverado seats in comparision to the new model that came out a couple years ago. I then thought about the quality of this car, and decided the cloth interior is going to be lightyears above what they have out currently. Think of all the research that went into these cars. Plus I gained a ton of faith when I thought about the IVER cars (which were cloth) and seeing how good they held up after about 200k miles.

Not sure where the stains come into effect for you, but I could find you some DEPENDS if you think they would be needed!

Sorry man, just had to say it!
define quickly? 1 year 3 years?
I have found if you treat your leather seats with a good treatment they will last for many more years than you think. I looked at a 96 Camaro vert the other day and the leather seats were perfect, the only problem I saw was with the cloth top had holes in it and the stitching in the seats had worn... hmm if i know my materials both were made of fabric.

If you are only getting the 2SS for the leather, why not just buy aftermarket leather? That way you can choose colors of the leather and stitching and add whatever logo you want. I'm ordering the 2SS for other reasons, but I'm also going to buy black leather seat covers from Katzkin with yellow stitching and a yellow SS stitched into the head rests. Its not difficult to remove the factory covers and swap them out.
