Dude.. don't even worry about it..
look.. my gf thinks my car is "pretty" because it's Orange. She could care less about it being a large V8, having 426HP/420TQ. Thinks it's loud enough now stock. Makes the "well, you know the speed limit is only XX.. so, what would more power give you?" etc. type comments.. She points out other cars all the time that she likes.. and, 9 out of 10 times, it's something aesthetic about the car. She doesn't understand how one car costs almost 3 times another, etc. or that one car is supposed to look plain or look showy. She just doesn't know or want to know. It's not her thing. and.. that's all fine.. she doesn't have to or need to.. After the end of her random uniformed commentary, she just says "well, it's your car.... if you like it, then do what ever." She tries to understand when I explain things to her about it, but she's just not a car chick, she sees it as "just a car" (nod to other thread) -- but, she understands that it's my car. (I see that you're joking about the trading it in thing... but, I wouldn't worry too much about her comments) Though.... your title was misleading.. I was expecting some pics man!!!! |

In fairness to her, if you were going to get an SS, you should have gotten an ABM one, no matter what it took. She's not far off on the mail slot either, seeing s it's basically useless. Maybe she's more right than you think...

Man this is a ruff crowd.... Maybe they live together and have joint account / combined money....
If that the case then I can see why she'd be upset... Trading in a nice Camaro and most likely taking it in the shorts on the trade for an SS makes no sense to me unless you are going to race / run it at the track... The V6 has more HP than anyone should ever need for normal driving... My .02... |
