so we are paying $1,635(excuse me if my calculations are wrong) for foglamps, wheel difference, and the availibility of other accessories?

You will also get 18" Alloy wheels instead of 18" Steel wheels. Is that a deal or what?

A V5...thanks...now I have to clean pepsi off my monitor.

Now that would be a hard engine to balance.

Sorry for typo, fixed. Not surprised I mixed it up though, Ford owns Volvo which for some reason insists on doing 5-cylinder engines. And people wonder why they had to lay off a lot of people recently...

A lot of us were worried the V6 would start at 25 or 26. On the other hand i have to pay 995$ for an auto, so my base price is actually 24. I can't help but feel the price of the SS is subsidizing the low price of the V6. I mean, 8 grand more for the V8. And let's face it, most all of them on the dealers lots will be 33, or 34k, not 31. And what's with the 30,995. Just say 31 for crying out loud.
I'm trying not to complain, i know it's a great engine and chasis, but i dont' see anyone who's considering a GT for 27 going over to the Camaro for 33.

I agree fully. They scored a home run with the V6 and brain-farted on the V8.

Great that means the yellow trim kit will probably just be 100-200$ since theres no stiching and no seats
