surgeon. at 35 and after TONS of student loans and having to live off of frozen pizza(tombstone beats all fast food pizzas) and noodles and living in a 20sqr ft "studio" for a few years I'm finally at a point in my life where Im able to pretty much get what I want. its been fun. like many have stated here, "its not a job if you enjoy it". don't think about the money. as good as money is if you hate your job then you're going to be pretty miserable your whole life no matter how fancy your car is.

I agree with the surgeon. If you don't like what you do, you won't be able to do it for long. (I'm an attorney).

I was 22 when I bought my 2011 SS in 2011 new. Had an accident :( Then I just recently bought my 2012 2SS. Looks like IT is the place to be!

I am 25, serving in the United States Army (active) and have deployed to Iraq twice, which allowed me to afford this car.

Local fuzz myself.....which is a double edge sword; I know when and where everyone works near me (for when I want to take a "cruise") but they also have a pool going on when I get my first ticket...

ne'er-do-well! No, aviation maintenance and management, soon to be (professional) pilot. Started turning wrenches and crewing in the Army in 1999, moved civilian 6 years or so ago, its been a long, fun, mostly prosperous road and I still cant see the end! (thank God cause I still have a full tanks of gas!)

There are only two options in life. Fight or flight. Most people run. Almost all people run. But not us. The difference between us and everyone else is that we run towards the gunfire. And that makes all the difference.

I'm 22 and work at a dealership selling parts. I'm in college full-time for Marketing/Industrial Electronics and have been supporting myself through work since 15. It's all about working hard. I've been married to a level-headed woman for almost 2 years now also. We both work and attend school full-time. All it takes is the drive to succeed. Basically like most others say, do something that will make you happy and stick with it, the money will come.

Agreed.

I did a career change and am now a surgical tech. Plan on going back to school in a number of years and moving into surgical assisting or P.A. school. My job is FASCINATING and that's what makes me get out of bed every morning.

Eventually, my country will allow me to pay for mine. I couldn't ask to work for better people than my neighbors.
