Hey guys/gals! For those with the strut tower bar and have gotten it painted, did you get the bolts holding it in place painted as well? And if so, which bolts did you use? I never got the GM ones because they are WAY too expensive. However I have a had a hard time finding nice ones to put in place.

I had mine pained by Lupe, and the ends are Carbon Flash Metallic.

I am just curious as to what everyone has done, and if you can post pictures please!

I went to the dealer and bought the right bolts. I think it cost me $20.00 ,plus the give you two extras . I also had my brace painted by Lupe . My ends are Black . So I went to Hobby Lobby & bought a bottle of model car paint . & a brush . Put the bolts in the brace and painted them black to match the brace. Took about 4 coats . But looks pretty good foe a couple of bucks. Plus I can touch them up if needed. Been that way for 3 years..

Just took off the Brace to get it Hydro dipped. Keeping the ends black . When I put it back on I'll do the same thing again.

You could always find chrome bolts ,that would look good if you like shinny stuff.

Got mine on my old SGM from place I bought bar from... Had dealer paint them.
