Just ordered leather steering wheel for V6 with Manual Transmission from Phastek.com The cruise and radio controls are preinstalled with the wiring harness.

Just installed mine this was a great write up but my dealer said this couldnt be programmed to the car unless it was born with it. anybody know of a dealer in atlanta ga that can program it for me

I have my bluetooth audio switch and harness installed. Lucked up and found a bluetooth onstar on eBay. Now I can't find a dealer in TN willing to program for under 190.00. I flippin refuse to pay that. Anyone have list for states nearby that have done so I don't get raped. I seen one before but I can't find it now. Thanks in advance. And Thanks for this how-to Im a female and installed this all myself so it is super easy. Just need a competent dealer willing to program my darn BCM!!!!

I'm a little out of your way, but if you are in town Pete Moore Chevrolet in Pensacola, FL will reprogram. 50 bucks to chevy and .5 hours labor. I was quoted by them ~90.00 bucks.

Which dealer did you take it to? You need to take a copy of the front page of this thread, and take it back and tell them they are full of it!

I folllowed the instructions to the T it was simple now I'm at the dealership and they say that they did the update to BCM and they said niether the hand controls or the pdim are working can anyone give me some advice as to what could be the problem

Was at the dealership Friday and updated the audio software and bcm, the steering controls & PDIM is working great.

Hey how's it going? I have a 2010 Camaro 1LT with OnStar, XM radio, USB and the Aux port but no steering wheel controls. I wanted to use your method to install the radio harness and switch then get it programmed from the dealer. My question is, do I need the PDIM everyone is talking about? and will my bluetooth function after programming? If so, where is the mic? or is it the same mic used for the OnStar?
