I think we should consider getting some 2-way radios for cruises. I was primarily thinking about Camaro Fest (already excited about August), but we could use them for other things to.

Something like this might work or we could go up from here. If we did something like this, we're talking about $11 per car, so I think that's reasonable.

I know we've had limited success with the Zello app on our phones and haven't been using it for the past few road trips. Our cruise to the Tupelo Car Museum reminded me that it would be good if we could communicate while driving. Texting is ok, but is obviously harder for those who may be driving alone to do and may not be the safest route at 100+ MPH. LOL!

Anyway, I think having the ability to communicate about stops, upcoming exits, traffic, where the rest of the pack is, etc, is helpful.

Just a thought. Like I said, we could certainly go more upscale, but something along these lines would work.

Somebody may already have access to some 2-way radios or may have other ideas about where we should purchase some.

Nothing we have to do right now...just throwing it out there for future consideration.

I was thinking that long ago. Some of those gmrs radios would be good. I have a couple

Yeah, I just think we should do something as far as communication goes. Bowling Green will be a little bit of a longer trip and we'll likely have more cars going.
