The improved racing is a trick piece BUT you have to check the clearances due to the headers. I was going to run one but with the 2" headers it was impossible.

Well here is Tbone ready and sick and tired of the usual threads lol

I actually found it in a Camaro Performance magazine and it looks intriguing.

They actually have oil pan baffles but that is a larger project and I will probably wait on that.

I'll be installing one in 2 months with an extra wide 19 row Earl's oil cooler. Stock setup and coolant hose will be fully removed and the thermostat should ensure the oil gets up to temp in a reasonable time for engine and valve spring oiling. Flow should not be an issue, just because there's a valve doesn't immediately mean a restriction exists. I may do an oil temp gauge and hide it under the dash for now, then long term find a way to get a real gauge into the 4-pack cluster.

And yeah the oil pan baffle would involve cutting out the crossmember and welding in a replacement or pulling the motor, not interested right now or I'd go all Nathan on the engine bay and never get it back together.

The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my next
Track fix.
