Just got back from watching the last Shuttle launch, and the best thing about my trip......36 mpg in my 01 Saturn l200 with 3 grown men and gear with an average speed of 68 mph.




Edit: the launch was sweet too.

That is damn good gas mileage!

As for the shuttle launch..... YOU SUCK!
I would have done damn near anything to be there for the final launch. I am bummed to see the shuttle program come to a end! Time for companies like space-x to step up and take us to the next level of exploration!

Well it was a 12 hr last min drive to get there. Also the Orion project is starting up so there will still be stuff going on.
