GM or any other car company can't put a catch can on factory because of emissions laws.

Doesn't work the same, not even close...

That isn't true as it isn't venting anything. It is simply catching the oil/gas vapor before it is burned through the engine which causes a lot of problems.. There are multiple reasons they aren't installed by the OEM manufactures but there are already 15+ threads talking about it on this forum alone..

I work for Chevron, and i can tell you that every drop of fuel that leaves this refinery is tested and must meet specifications, before we sell it. If you buy fuel from the cheap spots, like Smiths, Walmart, Samsung, Costco.... You are buying from tanks that are never filled and "finaled"(sealed and sampled for quality) You are buying from tanks that are just assumed to meet specifications, based on what has worked in their blends. And their Diesel is only sampled once a shift, and assumed it stays on spec till the next sample. Sinclair,Conoco, and Exxon pipe their fuel into Utah, as they don't have refineries here, and if you buy 7eleven... Shame on you for supporting Venezualan oil. As far as additives... They are all a detergent, and are fairly equal. As for what I read on Techron, it is supposed to be a better one, but I am biased.

Octane Additives are a scam. You are buying something like a toluene.., and you not going to get to much octane out of a quart, nor would I want to get to much, because it isn't good on your engine. Chevron tests make sure if its advertised as 91 octane... It's a minimum of 91, and is blended to motor specs, not heavy on one component, such as butane, light cracked, penhex, which all have there own qualities.

I run Chevron exclusively in My Camaro.. In terms of additives I don't really do much with them but the Techron is what I've used in the past and only 1-2 times a year. We appreciate your support!

Chevron is ALL I run and I recommend it to ALL!

I really need to proof read before i hit the go button. I'm pretty sure I meant Sams club, and not Samsung, but the phone seems to think it is more gooder than me.

Nice job, good looking Camaro....
I think you should do a video of the SL C5 UT Group at one of the meets next year when everyone has their cars back together.

But 7-11 has Slurpee's!!! I'll buy whatever gas I'm closest to when I'm running out. I never had a single issue in any of my vehicles nor have I ever heard of anybody having issues with non Chevron gas. But to each his own.

Oh and if you want to talk about "Supporting" local, Maverik gets no more local or home grown American!

So what about putting a bottle of injector cleaner in now and then? That is what I was asking about.

You won't hurt anything. But it's a waste of money. All Gas has detergents in them.
