Tom called me this morning and the new rear axle parts still don’t fit quite right with the new rear end, so he is sending them back to DSS to have them shave it off a bit so it will fit right. So the car won’t be tuned until next week.

Oh, here is the new rear end. It is a Strange 9" with 389 Pro Gear (spool). Should make going around corners fun...

I told you last year at Camaro Fest your car was my favorite 5th Gen, now its just...wow. Can't wait to see the track numbers. Have you been cleared to race yet? Sorry if you had already covered it, last I knew the doc hadn't cleared you for your NHRA license or something along those lines.

Some cars sound good idling..... but a very few sound, feel and smell good idling.

I bet yours is the latter

Thanks for the nice comments, guys. I'm sorry to say I cannot race it myself. I can drive it on the street, but not race it. The doc refuses to clear me to race. I have found a really great driver though and he is going to drive the car. He is amazing.

Just got a call from Tom at IPS. He was able to machine the axle today at a local machine shop. The car is going on the dyno tonight.

Can we get some closeups of that racepak dash?

I really would like to do the same and I'm wondering what it takes to get it done properly.

Still at IPS... last pull was 1096 rwhp @ 15 lbs of boost.

Not done yet.
