True story, but a few decades ago in August, the 18th specifically. There's still time to get cake for this year. Maybe they'll announce specs on my B-Day.

LOL Mac,....maybe it's a marketing strategy test slogan for Obama's Office of Misinformation in their "green effort" to eliminate our evil gas guzzling cars.

How to fix a 1980s MTD Cub Cadet 1810 Hydro:

Turn key, depress brake pedal, wait for engine to start.

Engine doesn't start.

Pull choke, depress brake pedal, turn key, wait for engine to start.

Engine doesn't start.

Stare at driveshaft cover's instructions for proper starting procedure that nobody ever reads, follow instructions completely.

Engine doesn't start.

Swear angrily. Turn key and search for starter's engagement point in brake pedal's entire range of travel.

Engine doesn't start.

Swear angrily again. Decide to remove driveshaft cover to check starter switch. Spend half an hour searching for the right size socket. Spend another half hour searching for the right ratchet head. Throw an empty oil bottle across the barn in frustration at lack of right ratchet head.

Cave and go to the neighbor's for help. Neighbor isn't home.

Call parents who are currently 8,500 miles away for help. Parents aren't available at the moment.

Swear angrily again. Go back to lawnmower and kick tire while swearing once again. Climb into seat and attempt to start again in desperation.

Engine starts.

Stare at lawnmower's dash for five minutes in disbelief, then begin swearing at it for being an unreliable POS that will be scrap metal as soon as I can afford a real tractor.

Ok, let's predict the date for the HP announcement from GM.

Closest person wins absolutely nothing.

I won't guess so no one can make insider information claims....................even though I don't know.

First guess is from Scarrzz for August 18, which is just around the corner.

And Scarrzz why are there 2 r's in Scarrzz. Just curious.

And, Fen, why are you worrying about a lawn mower when you should be worrying that no pictures show up on the internets 8,500 miles away of drunken half naked co-eds ONNNNNN that lawn. Just curious.

Last first, maybe the sunbathing party is tomorrow at Fen's place, with kiddie pool & water hose & bikini clad babes. He wanted the grass to look nice for them. (Run with it Fen.)

Number 3, the extra "r" comes from my name. First name starts with an "S", last name is Carr. Put the initial and the last name together and you get...

BTW, that was my 20 year old kittycat Tiger, may he rest in peace. He was my best buddy. He has been gone about a year now, and I just now got a new friend, Tiberius.

Edit: I hope there's no rule against posting pics of kittycats in the House of Z. I did manage to include the old Stealth that once carried around a bottle of nitrous for special occasions. Engine didn't even blow up.

...and come to think of it, now you know there's a Carr in the second photo as well.

Now fen, first things first, I want the tractor when you get a new one.
Secondly, they are beasts.
