Anyone happen to know any more about the some of the GM open houses? Particularly
- Lordstown Complex, Warren, OH - Thursday July 28 (Cruze assembly)
- Wixom Performance Build Center - Thursday August 18 (Corvette engines)

I might be interested in going to these

I'll probably go to the one at Lordstown on the 28th since it's only a few miles from where I live & since I don't think I'm going to Oshawa now :( finances aren't going to allow the trip

I would be interested in the vette engine plant. Not sure about the cruze plant, could be talked into it with a big enough group.

I'd be into going to Lordstown. Jason's dad works there if I'm not mistaken. Completely opposite side of the state though.

He does. If I ever wanted to go (which I do) he can get me in any time so I'd pass on an open house.

Lordstown's Open House will be 10am-8pm on July 28th.

I can get more details for you guys if you're interested.

They just held a successful tour of metal fab in Parma...

If it doesn't rain, I'm hoping to get my Barton shifter installed Saturday. I have zero plans this weekend (first time since last fall I think).

So does anyone know how the throw is measured? i think Barton claims a 45% reduction. I measured the distance the center of the stock knob moves from 1st to 2nd and it was 3.25 inches. So if that's how the throw is measured, after the Barton install, I should have a throw of less than 2 inches from 1st to 2nd.

Looks good!

Seems mods are in the air. I am going to stop in and see Craig after work. Hopefully my cut outs are there so I can get them put in this weekend!!
