Due to the nature of the gathering and keeping in mind the bigger picture, I would anticpate attending rain or shine. It would be ok and up to each individual if they would bring their rides (I will be, since I'm the requesting host). I would recommend bringing appropriate gear for inclement weather, for good shelter(car) would not be available.

I have been and will continue to track the weather. I use NOAA and it gives great info by the hour. As of now, it appears main inclement weather will be holding off till 7pm Sunday. Anyone deciding they cannot make it, please PM me by the scheduled time.

That is a sharp car!! I have been wanting a Camaro forever myself. I think a 4th gen would be a great start. Sounds like you got a really good deal for it.

June 1st there is a car show in CR at Rockwell for the Tanager Place. Pretty cool show last year and Scott (Toesuf) won a sweet trophey.

June 7th car show in CR at Lindale Mall parkade which is put on by the Cedar Rapids Corvette Club

If anyone gets south of Branson, I HIGHLY recommend Hwy. 86. It took grumpy Grandpa from sad to happy real fast! The strain of taking my 8 and 9 year old G-kids on vacation faded quickly as I found my self on a quiet road going west with some of the greatest turns that can be found in a non mountainous setting. I didn't meet a single car until the very end when I meet about 25 Mazda Miatas from a club out having fun. Asked the Wife if I could turn around and do it again but was meet with a quick white faced NO! It really reaffirms why we all bought these cars when you can have some fun like that.
