Most of the larger bowls they will show the trophy presentation, etc. I've seen plenty of roses and bowls of oranges on tv before, lol. Besides we all know the Cotton Bowl SHOULD be one of the BCS Bowls anyway. C'mon it's the SEC and Big 12!
As for the 6-6 comment, I was one of those who said if they went 6-6 it would be a good 1st year in the SEC, I never expected this great of a year. No Aggie outside of that locker room did either I'm sure. Winning a National Championship? Slooooooow down a second there...how about we try to win the SEC West or a SEC title first? Georgia, Carolina, and Florida are all tough teams in the East. Oh, and I don't think LSU and Bama are exactly pushovers. As for the SEC schedule, yeah, it's weird again this year but it is a favorable schedule for sure. In 2014 it should start the permanent SEC rotation and be a little more balanced. Manziel's year will hinge on Joeckel and Mathews staying. That pair of bookends are guaranteed to go first round if they declare. We'll see what happens. I'll take this year knowing we were only 2 or 3 plays from being in the SEC championship game. Regardless what happens, at least I'll be back in Texas and get to go to a game. We can Gig'em next year!

Time will tell if A&M can manage enduring success in the SEC. Sumlin is a great coach and their success this year should certainly help with recruiting. My concern is that A&M minus Manziel is akin to Florida without Teblow and Auburn without sCam. A good defense will go a long, long way in the SEC (see Florida this year). Not to mention Johnny Football is going to have a great big target painted on his jersey next year.

Don't feel bad Notre Dame.
Western Kentucky, West Carolina and Florida Atlantic had 35-0 deficits to Bama too. Last edited by PQ; 01-07-2013 at 10:09 PM. |

Lol, I thought Alabama was going to win by 21 points, damn I was off. Roll Tide Roll. Complete Domination. Congrats to Coach Saban and the Tide. Teo stock just dropped, he could do nothing with those Bama linemen and people think he is a top ten pick, please. He couldn't shed blocks or make tackles, big time players step up. So this is the final product that Notre Dame produced, you supposed to get better as the season progresses, lol.
