If they allow it, if not to hard to organize the laps around the speedway, maybe go by the way we pre registered and have like the top 100 make laps, then the next 100 and so on and have times to meet to cruise it for each group! Just my opinion!

Dang. :( If I wasn't going to be deployed again, I'd totally be there. Looks like I'll miss for the 3rd year in a row.

Perhaps C5fest IV will be closer to the west coast again.

we just hosted the LSX shootout. Just to give an idea of how that event went, 3x as many people showed up than expected. Drag racing was suppose to end each night around 5-6pm. With so much interest in drag racing, and so many drivers showing up... Fri. & Sat. night racing went on till midnight. On Sunday, the finals for each division was suppose to wrap up at 5. At 5pm, there were still 2 more rounds of eliminations for 5 different groups.

Drag Racing at Lucas Oil brings out a LOT of racers. And it was awesome as a fan to see these 6 and 7 second cars shoot it out.

How could it get better than this? I'm so looking forward to this event.
My camaro has been supercharged (procharger) cam, kooks headers & exhaust, lowered with coil overs, Heavy duty sway bars, replaced rear trailing arms, addedroll stop kit, shift light & 4.11 rear gear. Currently 633.3 horse at the rear tires (Nitto NT05R drag radials) but should be able to squeese out a little more HP. Planning to add roll cage, clutch, racing seats, 4 pt harness etc.
Could there possibly be a better place or event than this to see what it can do?

No there isn't a better place to hold C5FEST or wring out your Camaro. This is going to make the Mod Squads job really hard when they are 'expected' to come up with a bigger better cooler place for C5 FEST IV.

Why is this the same weekend as the ALMS Race at Mid Ohio!? Damn it!

Maybe I can make the first day and a half at Indy, and then shoot over to Columbus. Have to see when the AutoX events are at Camaro Fest.

Hmmm....
