Did I miss the part in the video that said you needed to cut it? Lol.
They are all just black squares you just need to slice it so it will wrap around the wire going into the head light. I must say these guys really though of everything most other places would have said screw it and leave that part exposed.

I agree they were very thorough on things. They look great! Very bright in the daylight as well.

I do not have this kit, but I am curious. If I had RGB LED foot well lighting. Is there a way to connect them to JDP's controller along with their LEDs so everything can work together? I would assume that you could just use an RGB splitter, but I've heard that it will not work with this kit for some reason. Is this true?

This is kind of off topic, but will someone with a knight rider led pm me how they wired it up. Maybe I can wire it closely with the JDP setup or something. Let me know if you can please.

I know that JDP is coming up with a product for us non-RS users but I was wondering if the install would be so much easier if I ordered some RS headlights and did the install with them disconnected from the vehicle. I have no idea what the installation video says but just wondering.

If you have the money that's what I'd do. It looks great with the halo ring and everything. I'd explain it but don't want to give away what's going on. Basically you take the light apart, easy stuff, replace a piece and put it back together.

That's spending hundreds more for RS headlights. I mean, if affording them isn't a problem for you, go for it. But removing the headlights from the car is not very difficult. Besides, to put the RS headlights on your car, you'd need to go through everything to get your non RS lights out anyways. Removing headlight housings is not very difficult. It sounds like this LED swap is the hard part. Everyone IS installing this kit with the headlights removed from the car, theres no avoiding that.

Mine delivered to the house an hour ago. GF said box had oily bottom and I know there's nothing inside to attribute that to so I'm thinking dirty Buster Brown truck inside. Anyway, time to head home and inspect the goodies.

That's affirmative Brad! I've looked mine over and the kit looks complete and very professional! Can't wait for Saturday. I'm going to have a table in the garage so we can have things laid out and the 4 of us can perform surgery. I need to get a weather forecast and pray for no rain and the temps are moderate.

Got mine today. Watched the video and now putting them in.

A tip, I found it easier to just take out the whole wheel well than to pull it back and try to reach in.

You program the remote by going inside the car to access the main halo
switch, and turn it off (center). *Then with one hand press and hold the
brightness up and brightness down buttons at the same time on the remote,
then with the other hand (or an assistant) flip the switch to turn on the
halo module. *Keep holding the remote buttons for a few seconds more, then
release and see if it now responds. *If it still doesn't, try pulling the
battery out of the remote for a few seconds, reinstall, then try the relearn
again. *We've noticed a few times it takes a couple tries to program the
remote to some modules, but usually its not a problem. *Sometimes it helps
to have the remote close to the module when doing it. *Also sometimes the
red light on the remote does not turn on when doing it, so try it both ways.
It may take a couple tries,

That told me a switch wasn't on the way. Actually the last you heard from me was send me a switch or I can send the kit back. So, take the time to send IT, instead of posting PR.
I'm not sure where the miscommunication occurred here but we're sending you a new switch. You stated you were just going to find one at a local store on Monday when Jeremy was communicating with you to get it handled; I believe this was when he was helping you figure out you had the fuses installed incorrectly. Then another issue came up and Jeremy responded to you again in timely manner. We work hard to get everyone taken care of. I apologize if you feel our service and same day responses haven't be up to your standards.

Please feel free to call, email or PM me anytime with questions. We appreciate your business and have a great day!

Kind regards,
