And where is alpines kit? how much is the Metra kit, and it retains ALL functionality? $300 RETAIL!! I think Alpine went a little overboard with the touchscreen and making the dash look like a frying pan.

Our price will be NOWHERE near $1500. We are talking about doing national distribution (if not worldwide) after this kit is done. I cant name names as of yet but we are teamed up with a HUGE integrations company to speed this project along. This is no longer a questions of IF we are going to be doing a kit, but WHEN it will be done. It is one of the top priorities of both companies right now but in dealing with outside people there are certain things that we dont have control over for timelines. We are aiming for a price RETAIL around $450 for the stock knob kit, and slightly more for the DTS kit. Keep in mind how much these kits have to do compared to just a few years ago. Onstar, beeps and buzzes, Steering wheel controls, seat heaters, door locks, HVAC controls, and it has to LOOK good too.

I know a TON of you guys (and maybe a few gals) have been waiting a LONG time for this kit, and I am in the same boat. I would love to say "Here ya go guys" in a week from now, but with anything worthwhile, it takes time. I will try to keep you guys updated as often as I can.

I love the impromptu "possible sales figures". All joking aside, I am interested in how many of you will ACTUALLY get this kit. Lets say if the price was between $400 and $450 for the stock knob kit. Besides when the kit comes out I have all your names to send you notifications

I would be an "ACTUALLY". Any price estimate on the DTS kit? Will there be any color/finish options?

I would be interested, my girl already stated she likes this one the best and would purchase it for me. I always felt good things come to those who wait. So quit making me wait so damn long!

No it doesn't. It stands for Deutche Industrie Normal the standard size developed by German car manufacturers back in the 70's or 80's. Or something like that.

Why do you need a list? Just release the product already and I am sure you can sell plenty of all models you are making. Just seems like you are making them in a garage or something asking for a list....I dont get it. I am interested but just would like a website to put in an order and get one shipped when you have stock.
