It was only Heinzd and me tonight and I had to leave early for another event with my wife. D's father showed up so I didn't feel bad leaving him alone. He had the 76 Lt looking SWEET. Not as crowded as last week, sure the weather was the difference.

I stopped at the Milford cruise on the way home. Pretty slow and as I was pulling out I heard some guy say "take the new car home" What an asshole. I am sure he was driving the jacked up pick up with the stars and bars flag on it and only had 2 teeth.

Didn't see anyone I knew. Left pretty early and came home and fixed my tractor. Running like a top... for now.

Truth be told, I am up for whatever. I talked to Morgan and he said there is no camarovan this year but if you want to meet up I am game.

I also have no clue where it is... Beef O'Brady's in Brimfield???

I get a hold of you on my way in Friday. I am hanging with my mom Friday night but free otherwise...

Rumor has it that TT V6 build isnt going so well...

Thats what happens when you try to build and tune a car that the software doenst exist for... If you want 400+ hp to the wheels... buy a freakin SS! Sorry V6ers... not hating I just dont get it...

I got my cut outs and installed them today. Time to scare the neighborhood kids!

Sold the 67 today too... Not to Happy Pappy. I am supposed to deliver it Saturday and get cash on delivery.

I hate to see it go but glad also.

So does anyone know how the throw is measured? i think Barton claims a 45% reduction. I measured the distance the center of the stock knob moves from 1st to 2nd and it was 3.25 inches. So if that's how the throw is measured, after the Barton install, I should have a throw of less than 2 inches from 1st to 2nd.
Give us a report on how the Barton shifter feels.

Hopefully I get to hear the cut outs soon, perhaps on the trip to Oshawa. Just don't open them up at the Canada border crossing.

Congrats on the '67. So will that mean more mods?

I'll pop them open for ya at Jeffersonville. I am also making some plates incase of failure I wont be stuck with them open!

As far as the 67... probably not anything major... maybe some rear cradle bushing inserts and sway end links.

The cut out job was easy. I think i am going to do a DIY on it.
