Hi all. Sorry for the same old boring noob question of "will X catback pass inspection," but I've searched and searched and really couldn't find any definitive answers. Maybe my fellow Pittsburghers can help me out.
I'm looking at a few catbacks, but the ones that concern me are the Magnaflow comp series #16580, SLP Loudmouth I, and even Flowmaster Outlaw (which has a really small muffler), because since they are essentially straight pipe muffler deletes, would I have any trouble passing visual inspection? If it means anything, I would be getting it inspected at North Star Chevy in Moon. |

Cat back always passes. It's after the emissions control devices, it has no bearing on catalysts.

It also doesn't really add much power to be worth speaking of. It will change the sound to some degree, but not like headers and cat deletes.
