All Right Guys! I got it all done!! They finished my generator at 5:30, drove back to the plant, swaped rotors, modified the rear trailing arms for the slicks, loaded the trailer all in about 3 hours. Now I just need to wash off the grime, pack and I am finished.
Still need to fuel and wash the rig in the morning, swing by and pick up my daughters school work then I am Firebird bound!
Figure I will be there about 2 or 3.

Yup, we're all packed and ready to roll out tomorrow also. It's just insane how every time I want to take 1 or 2 days off all the last minute crap at work there is to deal with. Anyway, now that that's all taken care of, it's just a matter of the drive, and then Enjoy The Fest!!!

Yesterday was FUN!

Graham and Kevin flew in. The rest of the LPE crew came in 2 vehicles.

GTAHAVIT and PQ both arrived about 5 p.m. or so. there were a few other Die hard Camaro5 faithful that arrived yesterday. There were about 20 or so Camaro's that arrived yesterday.

My car arrived at 7 p.m.

Went to dinner with the 10 LPE staff - Pete pulled a prank on me, called me on the cell and said "Dan, how did you get the FLAT tire?" (NOT)

Very funny.. just remember Pete, payback is a bitch!

Had a nice chat with Pete and Chris till midnight..

Cfest 2 was an absolute BLAST!!!!!! We really enjoyed hanging out with everyone, seeing how awesome everyone's cars looked, sounded, and performed. It was really fun running on the track even though we all seemed to have some traction and heat issues. The Pfadt track attack was really fun. The strip was fun, Jonnie Stick better watch out, cuz I'm after his job. I need lots more practice, John, so you should be safe for now... Watching the Pedder's/Lingenfelter autocross was really impressive. Dan, you did great out there, and Pete and the gang worked really hard to set it all up. Dinner and catching up with everyone was especially fun. Thanks for setting that up Mark! Mike, tell Suki she's safe, Mark's retired and doesn't have jurisdiction in El Paso anyway There were hundreds of camaros out there, and I didn't see any 2 that were alike. I did get a picture with the hood down on the Yellow twin turbo for you Stratman. We missed you and Speed and Paul. We've got lots to do before work tomorrow, but here's a couple quick pics for you guys...

So... first of all I need to thank Pete and Everyone at Lingenfelter for a truly unbelievable weekend. You guys made me feel like I am part of the Family.

I finished in 4th place in the autocross, 4.1 seconds or so out of 1st place. The 3 drivers that beat me were all professional drivers, so I am pretty happy with my finish in Super mod.

The fest was fantastic! There was so much going on, it was hard to take it all in.

It was really great seeing everyone again - Ron Pedders, Pete Basica, Graham Behan, all of my Lingenfelter friends, and most importantly, the LPE brotherhood who cheered me on at the end of the event.

Wow Guys, I had a blast, even with blowing four tires, yup one more on the way home. So much was going on I feel like a missed a lot, I know I wish I could have spent more time with everyone! I really enjoyed meeting the crew from Lingenfelter, and being able to put a face with everyones screen name. We really do need to get together more often, there are about 6 or seven of us withing about 500 miles.
The autocross was a blast! I wish I could have made a few runs. Mike Haddad gave me a couple a amazing rides to help ease my pain.
Dan you really suprised me with your skills! You were right there with the pros in your new and improved beast!
Pete you and the guys put on a great event!
