OP's question? What did I do to my Camaro today? It was 47-50 degree's outside, partly cloudy, and dry (partly cloudy equals partly sunny....

). I had some free time on hand, and was itching for a ride. Of course there was all the late afternoon traffic, enhanced by the Christmas time surge. Colder weather and summer tires do not work well together for traction, so I took a slow ride with my son and ran an errand, listened to XM....and appreciated the moment. Just stylin' in the ZL1....

I got stuck

Not very bad but what happened after getting stuck is the bad part. I drove the whole 12 miles to work and im pulling into the parkinglot but the snow just kicked me back into the road. Since I had slowed down to make the turn I didn't have any momentum left to go up the hill so the car just got stuck there. Tried to back up but didn't go anywhere. So I jump out to move the snow and somehow I locked the door.

. I don't have a spare key and I don't have onstar either. So I called USAA and had them send someone out not to get me unstuck but to unlock my car as it was running in the road

. After unlocking my car it was easy getting it going with a little help. But man was that something else locking my car on myself, im guessing i just hit the lock on the door getting out.

But i got out and all is well

Corrected the misalignment of the hood/facia (height of the two wasn't flush) caused by the dealer installing the Heritage Grille, and by me removing the front bowtie and installing the retro "SS" grille badge from EmblemPros. All is right with the world and (IMHO) it looks fantastic. Permagrin back!

Sounds like you need to change the lockout protection setting.
