Ladyinblue did you or RS_man use Z-CS? I'll most likely wait to see your car before deciding on what to get... also it would help to get the CFO (
WIFE) of my family to approve the budget for this project.

I just got in a bottle of the Z-CS last week so haven't had a chance to try it yet. Since it's $30/bottle it took me a bit of time to convince myself that Merlin really needed it. But after seeing how the other products worked I decided to give it a whirl.
Don't know if I'll have time to get a coat on him for the show Friday; most likely you'll see him detailed up with Z-8 -- my other latest purchase besides the Glass Polish. And if you don't have the Glass Polish on your order list, DO IT! It's absolutely wonderful for getting water spots and just about anything else your windows will attract with very little effort. |

Boy Heather sure got around she was in my HS as well and I grew up in MD... unless we had a thing for two different girls. There have been a few Heathers I've bumped into in the last 40 years... all freaking hot and out of my league.

I've got the day off - figures it's storming so I can't go for a drive! Hopefully your long (boring) day at work will be over soon?!

[QUOTE=bartking;758288]The last one for the year is August 21st. Get there before 7ish and don't forget to register inside it's free and you get a dash plaque. Also you can come down with me to Dayton if your not doing anything this friday. There will be at least one car treated with Zaino if the weather is good. Hopefully Lady-in-blue will bring her car down so I can help her test the anti-drool stain
features of Zaino. Also I'm sure you wouldn't mind a nice hour drive to get the break-in period done faster. My inlaws live over near there, so I hope to get over there soon. I told a guy at work that I would help him move Friday after work. If he doesn't need me, then I could go to Dayton. |

Anyhow... I am going to derail the Zaino talk for now and on to another subject. The tri-state FBody club, serving all genreations of FBody owners in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. First off we need to see who all off here is interested. I will also hit up some of my third gen buddies on TGO to see if they are in. I also think we should let Fenwick be an honorary member even though he doesn't have a Camaro because he had such a good idea about cruising to Hocking Hills! ![]() I talked to my wife about it because I thought she would be opposed to another club. We already belong to Ohio Kentucky Saddle Club (horse) and Ohio River Four Wheelers (Jeep). Both of which have monthly meetings and also monthly trail rides. we rarely miss meetings but are only good for about 2-3 hourseback riding trips and 1-2 jeep trips a year. So, upon telling her she thinks it would be fun and had some good ideas. Her idea are 4 scheduled "meetings" a year. 1> A spring meeting to prepare cars for the year to come. Maybe do some Zainoing, install those mods you got over the winter, just hang out and get excited for summer. 2> A summer cruise. A decent trip but stay local. I live in SW Ohio near the river about an hour east of Cinci and 52 is a great road to cruise. So/so pavement but the river and trees are nice and it is a cool ride. We could take the fairy to Augusta KY and cruise some over there. This is just one suggestion. We could change to up yearly, this was just an idea. 3> A fall folliage cruise. Perhaps Hocking. 4> A winter meeting to discuss where 1, 2 and 3 will happen and when. These could be the 4 scheduled "meetings" Then during the summer we could have monthly gathering spots. Be it all of us meet at KMart in Dayton or Kroger in Milford or West Chester, or any other hot spot. Maybe change it up monthly. Maybe have improptu meetings weekly, whatever. We could actually just have post on here or our own website listing events and who is going. We could attract more members with maybe a banner or something?? We could all park in one spot and display something. I am just spitballing here. Some ideas. I think this could really take off and I know people love to show off their Camaros/Birds. Anyone else have any ideas/thoughts/suggestions post up. Y'all were talking about some SW Ohio club that has been defunct since 1998? Whats that all about? Can we take that over? What would we do about dues? Am I the only one who thinks this would be fun. One suggestion though, if we make it too regimented, its not as fun. Are other clubs are very structured and its not as fun. Monthly meetings with no "car time" would be boring. The Miata club was like that, monthly meetings we not so fun but the monthly cruises were! I have alot of other ideas too. We could attend gymkanas if anyone wants to "test" out their car. Very fun. I did it in my 2000 Corvette, my RX~8 and my miata. Been out of the game for a while but I am up for anything. Just throw out whatever you have and we can get this going. Last edited by IROCanSS; 08-04-2009 at 06:40 PM. |

Of course Fenwick gets to be a member! How else will we have up-to-date news on everything GM?!
And Fenwick - until you get your 'Maro I don't think you'll have any problem at all hitching along with any of us for our organized drives - we'll probably fight over ya! |

As far as the club is concerned, sounds like we need an initial organizational meeting of all interested parties somehow somewhere sometime, real or virtual...

Okay, I've gone back and read all over the Zaino site and I think I have my plan.
Wash, Clay-Bar, ZAIO, Z6 wipedown, Z5 w/ZFX, Z-6 wipedown, Z2 w/ZFX and ZCS to finish and soe z16 for the tires. At least I hope to get all that in one day. Oh,, and I'll look forward to the first meeting of the SEOCC South East Ohio Camaro Club
