My VIN is #7183, event code 4200 shipped, and I received an invoice today. My car is not listed on either site either...

THE END

Well guys it has been fun while it lasted. Apparently the railroads are not happy with what I am doing and have threatened legal action if I continue to provide you all with the information. I completely don’t agree with their position, but they are much more powerful than I am. I was only trying to help you all find out where your cars are and help take some of the burden off GM with all the calls to dealers and the DBC. GM obviously overlooked this part of the ordering process, but in their defense, they used their resources to build one hell of a Camaro!

Hopefully you all have your cars before you know it!

I guess it’s the good guys that get burned….

It’s been fun.

KK

KK, you were a great help to a great number of people. I would like to thank you, and everyone else involved with spreadsheets, info, etc. for taking the time to do what everyone has done to give us some information that has been lacking from other sources.

I hope you get yours soon!

Just my opinion....

GM complains about everyone calling them and asking about their pre-order cars, and where they are on the tracks.. they in turn call railroad company... and the rest is history.

What's the big deal in KNOWING where your $20-40k investment is at? It should be a common courtesy, IMO. I mean, UPS, FedEx, and USPS does it on packages (on planes, at that).. why not on cars we've been waiting on for 6+ months on railroads? Doesn't make much sense.
