#9244 checking in. I have them on the front only, painted black. Earlier in the production they didn't paint them and it was MUCH more obvious.

Mine is 18768. Has the weights and are painted. No squeals at all, however.

Thumbs up

I was at a car show today and they had a IOM 2SS/RS and it did not have the brake weights but dumbass (points to himself ) did not take note of the VIN. then again it may be one of the later ones that have the weights but they are very well hidden. i did not see anything on the caliper and i could see it very well when on my knees.

they are spare weights for the next set of tires/rims you are going to put on in case the tire shop doesn't have stick on weights.

mine has them on both front wheels not painted. My husband who is a master ASE auto tech says that they are for vibration/squeal as some people have already stated. Yes they are ugly and hopefully I can get the new calipers everyone has been talking about but for now no squealing but I have had a vibration and not sure if it is caused from these weights or the tires /wheel balance as noted in another thread. Have had it to the dealer already and of course they found "nothing".

Ours fell off and the squeal is loud! Kind of an embarassing way to draw attention to the car at a stoplight.

That's the first report I've seen of them actually falling off. Neato.
