Kinda the same here, except a little older 25 now but ordered it for my 24th birthday a year ahead of schedule. Started working my ass off when the concept came out so i could put down a huge downpayment or buy it outright when i was 25 but decided to treat myself and get it a year early best (car) decision i have made to date.

It is funny when my Dad and I go to car shows, we get out of the car and someone has some smartass comment about how its nice that my Dad lets me drive it, and he puts them in their place before i can say a word about it. LOL

59 next month. I'm retired now and this Camaro was my gift to myself. I've had many new and used cars over the years but they have all pretty much been purchased for a specific purpose (commuter car, work truck, etc.).

I bought this Camaro just because I wanted to have fun with it! That is its only function in life and now... my only function as well.
