I'm trying to get everything working perfectly, want to get into the 12's. The intake is doing great with the hump hose, the engine may have been moving around so much it would loosen up the hoses, the hump hose is allowing it to move more freely now.

Once I get the gutted cats replaced with straight pipes on Thursday that should let the exhaust flow more freely, right now there is turbulence that might be adding too much backpressure making the engine work harder.

Took the MACE Plenum Spacer and VMAX Ice-olator spacers off for the final time. I looked down the runners and #6 intake valves were clean from the Meth, #1 was still dirty, so the Plenum spacer is not allowing even liquid distribution between the cylinders. It might be because it slows down the velocity of the air inside the Plenum and causing the Meth to fall out of suspension, gathering at the back and going into #6.

I also am injecting Methanol Pre-Supercharger, been doing it for about 2 weeks now. After a few months will check for damage and liquids inside the intercooler. I have read a lot of information on this subject, decided to try it and see how it does on the track. The car doesn't feel like it runs out of power like it did before at the end of a gear, but only ET's will prove that.

I finally got my supercharger removed off the car, I had stripped the bolts on the idler pulley and the 2 bolts at the bottom of the bracket. I had to use a sawzall and a dremel to get those bolts out.

My advise to everybody with an IPF kit, if you even think about removing a bolt from the supercharger make sure you have brand new ones ready. I made a huge mistake and putting used old bolts on mine and paid the price in 7 hours of hard work getting them out.

I have a new belt and might be upgrading the pulley to a smaller one, just one size down for now. Going to think about it.

Also, the IPF Transmission tune is worth it, 1st gear holds till redline now and the car shifts harder than before.

Noted on the bolt removal.

Is the transmission tune a part of the normal install/tune when a shop installs this kit?

It is $100 extra if you have the IPF ECU tune.

Sorry to hear about the bolts. Do you have a link to where you get your bolts?

Those are the bolts used on the brackets and supercharger (minus the ones that are OEM to the car). I just ordered the minimum you can and you get a lot of spares.

Very cool, thank you. I'm guessing they're the same grade of bolt as IPF's?

Edit: Nvm, phone didnt load the site's whole page. Saw they are.

Would probably need to find out what grade IPF uses. I know there is a chart somewhere that tells you the max torque based on grade and size. My bolts weren't seized in the bracket like I thought, there was just a ton of pressure from the spacers. One I had cut the spacers the bolts came out by hand.

Got my boost leak tester today and at 5 PSI I already found a leak, the OEM Plenum gasket is leaking at a bend in the front. Not a fast leak but you can hear it.

So what are your recommendations for someone that is considering doing this. I love my car and it is very low maintenance. Don't want to do anything to it that is gong to make it a headache.

Just buy the kit, put an aftermarket catch can on it and call it good. I'm trying to get the fastest possible times out of my car, that is why I'm doing all this work.
