1. The Camaro was designed for the front and rear tires to be the same height. This is approx 28.7" tall. The fender openings are also designed to use same height tires front and rear. On some cars (Viper, Corvette) they are designed to run different height tires and staggered wheels. Smaller fender openings up front.

2. That being said, if you run a 22" front, and a 24" rear, in order to maintain the proper tire height of 28.7" front and rear...you end up with a front tire that has 6.7" of sidewall height, and a rear tire with 4.7" sidewall height. It looks goofy having a thicker sidewall up front, sort of like import drag cars with the drag slick on the front



Just my opinion of course, I can accommodate whatever you want.

Not trying to make waves, but I beg to differ. Here is an example of a customers vehicle that we customized with 22" F & 24" R. All that's left is to drop it.

Why do the tire heights have to be the same, why not have a smaller diameter front tire with a larger diameter rear with matching sidewall heights(could be 20f,22r or 22f, 24r), then lower the front of the car slightly more. Would have a slight cartoonish look to it but if done right would probably look badass.

Been looking at the Savini Forged BS2 for my Camaro. I have been fooling around with different variations. There web site is cool. I would like to look into the shortened rear axles and any other mod to get some real wide tires in the back.

Because of the computer system on these cars. Each wheel has a sensor on it, that reads rpm. This feedback is what controls the ABS braking system, traction control, stabilitrak, etc... If the sensors are not reading the same rpm (due to different tire height) then the systems will not operate. You will get a check engine light. Nobody that I know can tune the body control module to account for different tire height.

Thank you. I got the wheels and tires from Tire Rack, but Tire Rack isn`t carrying the Boss 338`s anymore.

The tires are Michelin Pilot Sport PS2`s.
255/35ZR20 on 20X8.5 Front.
305/35ZR20 on 20X10 Rear.

Tri Bar knock-off`s are from J.D wheels they also carry Boss 338 wheels. www.jdwheels.com/boss338.htm

EDIT; I just went to their website and they don`t show the 5-120 bolt pattern anymore.
