Well I just got off the phone with the Watkins Glen International Speedway. Steve, Andy, Mark, and I had briefly talked about looking into renting the track for a day. I don't think that that's going to happen any time soon, unless one of wins the lotto, lol.

There are a couple packages available the cheapest being a little over $8K a day, and there's a minimum 2 day rental

. plus the whole club insurance thing, lol.

They are sending me some info that I can pass on to anyone that's interested.

They have a Thunder Road Track Pass they do twice daily. It's basically pay $25 for 3 paced laps supposedly at 55mph. I talked to someone who did this and he said good luck keeping up with the pace truck. I think orientation starts at 11:30 and 4:30 and you hit the track at 12:00 and 5:00. It would be great to get some members together to do this but unless it's during the week there will probably be other cars mixed in with us.
