Ok, trying to plan for a large group to come to Watkins Glen track run. Does anyone have any dates we could think about?

Usually the end of may is the spring run, just checked on the windmill webpage, but didn't see 2012 show listings, which is when we get together for the track as well, if you want you can call them to see if they have a date yet, the number is at thewindmill.com

The track opens in April and they have an open track thing the first weekend. You can run the 3 laps like we do everyday, at noon and 5:00, except for black out weekends for events such as NASCAR, Grand Am, etc. The issue with setting a date now is that it might not be available if someone else rents the track. If you are talking about renting the track, it's $9000/day and there's a 2 day minimum. Let us know what you come up with. Contact Mike Evranian. His number is on their website.

Seriously...Wasnt Bucknam going to do a racers day somewhere....???
Get GM involved and sponsor part of it.....Ide toss $300-$400 at a day of unlimited runs with limited numbers of cars. (Cant have 100 cars on the track) maybe 30-40 first come first served tickets each day. Sat could be 40 cars and Sun a different 40 cars.
