Just got a 2010 Blk/Red Camaro SS/RS. Love this car!!! Cant wait for better weather and the coming months. Hopefully I can meet a bunch of you. So as I've read here there are a couple "clubs" or groups that get together and talk cars? Sounds fun. I'd really appreciate some info on when and where some of you guys meet up. I work nights and am off on Sat and Sun. I've had a few show cars in the past (an old Chevelle and Mercury) so I love to go to shows. We sold them off a few years ago and now got another sweet ride so I'm sure me and the family will come out to some more again this year. My wife and I spend a lot of time catering to our kids sports on weekends but fortunately they have a love for cars like me and will join us at the shows too. Also any info on some good Camaro websites would be nice. What's the 411 guys?...LOL

Welcome! Congrats on the 5th Gen, it looks great! You can checkout the Utah Camaros group on Camaro5 HERE for info, the Utah Camaros FB page HERE and the Camaro SL,UT's page on FB HERE. Did anybody catch the Horsepower TV segment today on Spike? Thwy built a Mario Andretti Camaro. It was fun to watch although JDP has built Camaros that made that one look slow! But the MAGNAFLOW center outlet exhaust was cool. I thought you were getting that one Darth?

BTW...anyone got any good info on gloss black powder coating??? I'm interested in the price of getting my stock wheels done or interested in buying some that are already done from someone if they're selling...pics would be nice too (especially local cars)

Got a question... I am not sure but I some how have paint over spray on the right quarter panel right next the the CAMARO emblim. It is about a 1x1 area does anyone have any idea on how to get it off so it can be back to the original clear coat sheen? I wast thinking of calling Gus tomorrow as they did a little work on that very side by the wheel well.. My poor car I tell ya lol.. Now with the 43750.K miles maybe its time for a new one lol.. Wishful thinking but if I did it would be the 45th Edition, with the new spoiler and chrome wheel oh and an SS..

Michelle, If the paint overspray is on top of your clearcoat it can be removed with a little very fine polish and a little work. You said a 1x1 area, I assume you mean 1 foot by 1 foot. Just apply a little very fine polish to a good cotton rag (no seams or edges, seams or edges could actually cause scratching) and rub till the overspray is gone. Then clean the area off and do your normal wax on the area - should be good as new if you don't overdo it. If you rub too hard or for too long you could cut into or completely thru your clearcoat. A machine orbital polisher would work OK if you are careful with it. Good luck.
