Dreaming of all the fun mods is dangerous. I have a list of things I want to do, by price and how much I really want them lol

if you find out how much, let me know. I just plasti dipped my wheels. It's a not so permanent solution. But it was cheap and I wanted to try it.

Nice, I think I like that!
Does it look good up close?
If not, you may have to wait until its warm to do it right, or find a nice heated garage to do it in.

This guy does an exchange program for powder coated wheels - $400 for basic color:

I'm betting you could probably find a better price with your own wheels locally. Thebrainheart had his painted and Duff's are too.

No problem! There are a few Powder Coating places here in Utah. The first is Powder Extreme Coatings (801) 450-2819 and the 2nd is Unknown Coatings (801) 803-1584. I'm guessing you'd be looking at $350-$400 but you wouldn't have to deal with shipping. I need to get mine done as well.

I wast thinking of calling Gus tomorrow as they did a little work on that very side by the wheel well.. My poor car I tell ya lol.. Now with the 43750.K miles maybe its time for a new one lol.. Wishful thinking but if I did it would be the 45th Edition, with the new spoiler and chrome wheel oh and an SS..

Welcome new members as you see I don't venture on here to much just busy with life I suppose.. Can't wait for spring and most def can wait for some cruises and Camaro Fest in Indiana already got the time off ..
Good to see you posting! You're always welcome to stop by the shop and I'd be happy to take a look at your car! You don't need a new Camaro!

K question? Im looking at changing out the bowties for the SS on Buzz. I think I like the old school SS emblems better than the new style. I will have to paint the old school cuz they dont come in yellow but the new ones are are yellow and chrome. So I would still need to do work to make them yellow and black. The price difference is huge. Has anybody had any good bad experiences with either type? Thanks for any input yall have.

If you want to save money I would buy the white ones and then take it to the sticker shop that all these guys use (Graphics Evo in Murray) and just have that guy lay yellow vinyl over the white SS.

Personally I'd go with the modern "SS"

THX for the info JDP!!!

Hey thanks for the info. This is the kind of stuff that makes these websites so great!! Just FYI to anyone interested in powder coating their wheels. I called Powder Extreme Coatings who are located near 8200 s 250 w. They told me to gloss powder coat my stock 20's it would cost $100 per wheel. He also said he can usually do about a 2 day turn around and sounded eager to take care of any of us that want to do it. Of course you need to bring the wheels with out tires on them. The small center caps would need to be painted by you (because usually they aren't metal).

I'm sure this info is on here somewhere already so I apologize for any redundancy. Hey I'm a new guy...cut me some slack...lol!

I'd go with the newer style, they fit the car better IMHO. But with that said it's your baby so do what YOU want! Sam @ Graphic Evo is the man as well!

So as I've read here there are a couple "clubs" or groups that get together and talk cars? Sounds fun. I'd really appreciate some info on when and where some of you guys meet up. I work nights and am off on Sat and Sun. I've had a few show cars in the past (an old Chevelle and Mercury) so I love to go to shows. We sold them off a few years ago and now got another sweet ride so I'm sure me and the family will come out to some more again this year. My wife and I spend a lot of time catering to our kids sports on weekends but fortunately they have a love for cars like me and will join us at the shows too. Also any info on some good Camaro websites would be nice. What's the 411 guys?...LOL
Welcome BLACKWIDOW.SS, looking forward to meeting you and your sweet Camaro.

Awesome! I had to spend $10 at a coin op wash just to wash the layers of salt off my daily driver yesterday. The amount of salt that they use around here is insane!!
