I just located the Ohio Valley Camaro Club in West Chester, and the contact is pebcamaro@aol.com.

Fenwick - are you keeping this a secret?! It's supposedly for Camaros and Firebirds....

You are never going to let me live that down, are you? LOL But yes, it should be for people who own F-bodies... or don't, but still love them!

We could also do flyers and paper all the f-bodies at the cruise-ins we attend. I know, I usually pitch all this stuff, but I do glance through them first.

Something else that might be worth looking into - is there a national or N.American org we can piggyback onto as a chapter? $$ opens up a big can o' worms. If we're part of a larger org, we'll have to pay them dues, but they should be able to include us in their tax form filings. Or, if we're an independent org, we might be able to do something more on a voluntary contribution basis, at least at first. I can't imagine that expenses would be much - maybe for the banner you mentioned, for copying costs for flyers, and for web hosting. I'm thinking everyone would pay their own gas, food, etc. for our events and chip in on those that involve a group cost.

Agree! Keep it casual and fun. Cruises, picnics, track nights in the summer, maybe game nights in winter.

Keep the ideas coming!

Yea, we should try to avoid dues. More like a group of friends with common interests other then an actual club. If we had group expenses, people could throw in what they could. Keep Uncle Sam with the mushrooms, in the dark and feed him shit.

We will get something going here soon. I am OOT this weekend but good the next few. OOT again over Labor Day and on Sept 12 weekend or the FBody Reunion.

We should try to meet on some Friday at the Kmart when most people can attend and just meet eachother and go from there. Not saying this is the case but i met this member off TGO on the power tour and he was SUPER creepy!

Another idea. A cruise is fun with 5-10 cars, much over that and its a PITA! Always stopping and whatnot. Still doable but tends to be more catering to everyone and less enjoying the open road.

--------------
So I have picked a name for my car... Its a boy, and his name is Rene` (m). Not to be confused with Renee (f).

Origin of the name Rene:
From the Late Latin Renātus, which is a direct derivative of renātus (reborn, born again). A perennially popular French name, Rene was, and in many cases still is, bestowed in celebration of the Christian's spiritual rebirth. The name was borne by the French philospher and mathematician René Descartes (1596 - 1650).

I think that is fitting, French b/c its made in Canada and reborn, well thats a no brainer! Also very fitting b/c my wife and I are both civil engineers so Descates is a familar name.

HOW DID YOU ALL COME UP WITH YOUR CAR'S NAME?

LOL - luckily, everyone I've met from this forum has been cool! No creepy people (yet).

If I make it to KMart this Friday, it will be late. Have to take my daughter to fencing camp at 7:30. Good thing is, there are usually places to park by then. The following 2 weeks I won't be able to make it. :( But after that I'm good.

"Lucien" told me when I got him. Not what I'd had picked out. So yours may change! (Cool name, though!)

Malibu = Mally. Got tired of calling her "The Malibu" all the time.

Envoy = Gas Hog #1. Self explanatory.

Sonoma = Gas Hog #2. Also self explanatory.
