Sounds like what Linda (Duncan420)did with her convertible but her's is SLP???

I guess that what the dealer could consider "factory" would not put it past Facillo.

Yes, Linda's is an SLP427, meaning they squeezed 27 more HP out of an L99.

Post a pic if you can. Doesn't sound right. Somethings fishy, or he doesn't know what he really bought. Stock LS7 427 is 505HP. Add a supercharger and you're 700+ HP.

To all my Upstate C5 friends -

Our Gen 5 family on the island of Oahu are in need of our help. I've been over here for three days now and seen about 15 Gen 5 Camaros (strangely only one of them is a SS). However, the island is infested with Mustangs. Our buddies need help eating these things up! There are plenty to go around. And, there are even a few Challengers for sorbet. So get your beast on a ship and get over here to help rid this poor island of all these rotten horses.

(It's a tough job but someone has to do it.)

Not to switch topic but I read this thread that brought up a good point about the ZL-1 and insurance...because the car is TRACK READY it may be subject to coverage loss.
Recently VETERAN-1 was dropped because his car was considered a "Race Car" after participating in a few events (for which he bought additional coverage)....the ZL-1 is pretty much the same. Plus he has a custom "Wrap" and that was yet another reason for coverage loss..I dont agree with that at all.

Did I say that somewhere? haha just kidding, but I get to go down 4th gen memory lane right? I heaven't visited the thread in a few days ( working a lot of hours) so I had to read a few pages. As for the ZL1 Insurance thing, I spoke with my insurance agent about this (I have Nationwide) he said it won't be labeled a "Race Ready Car". Insurance will be more than an SS but only because the car cost more. He told me the Boss Rustang which is a "track ready car" doesn't get labeled that either. And last but not least, Lisa do you have a ZL1 on order yet! or are you going with a 2013? I ask because the allocations for the 2012 are filling up quick. A guy from Denooyer Chevy called me earlier this week and said he is getting 2, I already have mine ordered though, so you might want to give them a call if you want a 2012.
