had my old hood and deck stripes removed and new ones installed.after 8 years in the florida sun,they were starting to get ugly.now that im retired she wont be sitting out in the sun 40 hours a week...

Had a few minutes to kill on Saturday (ended up being few hours because the hose clamps kept jamming and breaking) so decided to finally tuck the hand take cable back a bit to clear the inside of the wheels, would touch lightly on the new ones during hard turns and such, not enough to damage either but enough to keep knocking the balancing weights off.

A job I will need done soon. Who did the work? Did you find GM stripes?

I found all factory but the trunk lid in inferno orange. You may have better luck with black.

Changed her oil after drag racing last weekend. The price on DT40 just keeps going up (like everything in this economy right now).

Also finally installed 1LE sway bars (much beefier than stock SS sways) that I've had sitting in my garage for years while I was under the car. Got tired of seeing those bars sitting on the floor under my workbench gathering dust.

used a place here in lakeland called cottrell signs. i had custom stripes ,silver with a red pinstripe that were showing their age.cottrell duplicated them perfectly in 3M vinyl.

Replaced the ORIGINAL battery in the Z/28. 9 years of usage. The last year or so it's been hinting at the need for replacement. Slow hot starts and the annoying window index message. Also added a bit of air to the Modern Spare.
