Can someone please recommend a suitable tire?
I would recommend running a 235/60R18. I would recommend either Bridgestone Blizzak or Pirelli Scorpion Winter. Both are great for deeper snow. If you are on the edge of the snow belt these will give you the grip you need.

All, just listen to Rudy. I got a great setup and so far as the temps get way colder I am good to go. Can't wait to see some snow!

First post on the forum! Having Bridgestone Blizzak LM-32's installed on my 2014 SS on Monday. 245/45/20 all the way around. Dealership offered to match TireRack's price and are giving me a $100 mail in rebate.

Spent the last week driving around Detroit in several inches of snow with PZeros. It has not been fun, or safe. Spent the week before that driving through heavy snow on the west side in a 2015 CTS Vsport with Pzeros. I've had enough Pzeros for the winter.

Can 225/60/18 tires fit on the stock 18 inch heritage wheels?

Blizzak Tires P235/55R19 with Top flight rims on 2010 SS

One of my friend is selling his lightly used Blizzak Tires P235/55R19 with top flight rims used on his 2010 Camaro SS. Will this fit my 2011 Camaro 2SS/RS ?

Thanks for your help.

If they are coming off a 2010 SS, then there is almost no reason they shouldn't fit a 2011 SS.
Unless he does NOT have Brembos and you do. Then a test fit would clear that up.

Looks like he is not sure. Is there no other way of saying without doing a test fit ?

All 5th Gen SS's came with Brembo's they should fit.

Unless he changed his brakes to something else which is unlikely.

Figured Id ask here. Is there anything special you need to do to tires and wheels when you store them between winter and summer.

Just wrap them in black trash bags and store in a garage or temp controlled location.

Got my winter tires, but we are having unseasonably warm weather around here. Knowing my luck there will be a freak snowstorm and Ill be stuck with my p-zero's.

But it gets up to mid to upper 40's even a random 50 during the day. And I hear that is hard on snow tires, when driving on dry pavement. Am I correct?
