I'm guessing they can only track the U.S. vehicles & not the Canadian ones still ? ? ?

If I missed this post somewhere, I am sorry, but...
I was watching "Ultimate Factories: CAMARO" this weekend, and when they were in the engine plant, I SWEAR I saw this new head in the video being bolted onto the V6... I did a double take, and swear that's what I saw, but I digress...

I used to own a 97 Z28 and in 2000 traded it in for an SS. Loved the SS, the only car I could take to the track and run high 12s to low 13s while still getting 31 MPG at 75mph w/AC on the highway. Back then there was all kinds of rumors about this 5th Gen Camaro (concept drawings, etc). When the 5th gen first came out the local dealers were adding premiums.
On 2 Jul 11, my wife bought me a base Camaro for our anniversary...only options on this care was the bluetooth and rally yellow paint. In comparison to the 4th gen Camaros....this is a well made car. The little V6/Auto moves well and get good MPG. My wife being a fan of the Mustang got a 2012 model on 9 Jul. I am lucky in that I have gotten to compare apples to apples (trim levels are the same (base) and both have the v6/auto). The Camaro run just as strong as the mustang; but, I believe the Camaro is a better value. The Camaro cost us $2K less and was better equipped. So, if anyone is thinking about going to the darkside....don't.....Chevy got it right again..in my humble opinion. |

Well - I loved my RS so much that after just about 2 months I decided to move to an SS (several reasons but many of them "just because") ... This is my first thread on the board but have been reading beyond comprehension ....
My SS 45th arrived at the dealer today - fresh off of the truck and I have a MASS of pictures to upload when I get a minute. The "build date on the car is 8/8/2011 (inside of the Door Jam at least - not sure what that matches). I should be taking the car tomorrow - and figured for those interested I would try to share and offer along the way to those interested. As for my RS - I simply LOVED IT ... It has only 1800 miles on it but bought this car as a long-term piece and wanted an SS, Manual, and the 45th seemed like the right time and package for me. Thanks for everyone here who shares just incredible information. ![]() |

There might be some photos of details that may not have made it to the board yet. One I liked was the shield on the steering wheel.
