So I'm suggesting maybe tonight or tomorrow night, based on response, possibly like Waikele shopping center, maybe a little Chili's get together, since Haole and I are the only ones talking about it and that is more our side... Can park in the Lowe's lot near KFC since that seems to be less crowded ALL the time, or maybe same end but within sight of Chili's for those that want to keep an eye on their prizes.

Again, just a suggestion, and flexible too, would be nice to do early evening while it is still light, but based on the time I get home, and Haole too gets in around 530 (he says) maybe 6-ish

PM's or posts and we'll see if we can't pull something off!

Cheers,
James

If it's after 6ish, I may drop in. I live nearby. Seeing how Monday plays out, surprisingly, no fires... yet.

I'm thinking that it will probably be Tuesday evening, and more than likely between times (maybe 6 - 8 or something ), so those who may not be able to make it earlier or later can just stop in, say hi, etc...

Only reason I would want it earlier is to see what people have done, I know personally I want to check out an exhaust mod or two to get a feel for sound, I have an MGW shifter I can show off for any interested, things like that. Not impossible to do in the dark, but you can see what i mean.

I also only suggested Chili's because it is a sit down bar and grill, for those of us of age that want a beer while we talk, etc. If anyone has a better location / suggestion, by all means throw it out there, I know this is kind of short notice but with Haole leaving around the end of next week, and our newlyweds visiting in town this week (I hear they rented a red Camaro on island ) I figured those that want to say congrats to the couple and meet (Haole has been talking about getting together for a while) just figured I would put an end to the "We should's" and make it "We are..."

Ok, I swear that will be the last time I justify myself, sorry I just don't want people to feel left out, so the short notice thing is kind of a spontaneous beginning, hope to see more and more small group get-togethers start after this.

Cheers!
James

too bad... I may actually leave on-time this evening.

I need to work to 7ish tomorrow evening. I may make it before sunset, depending on traffic. I'd like to see what others have done, too.

Doesn't hurt that I live a few minutes away from Waikele.

Are some of you still meeting at Waikele Tuesday night? Might be able to drop by for a bit.

Ok so looks like we have a few people who want to come out. Don't worry about the 6 - 8 thing, that is a roundabout number, if some want to stay later or arrive earlier, I think if we are paying customers there isn't much they can do about it. I suggested Chili's in the Waikele shopping center as the place to meet, haven't heard any other suggestions, so for now I think that is the place we can plan on.

I plan to get there a few minutes early, can attribute that to my military-ness or something, plus to find a decent spot in the lot with a few open spots so we can all park relatively close in the same area. If anyone needs a contact number, for phone or text, PM me I can send you mine that way if someone is coming and unfamiliar with the area hopefully I can lead them in the right direction, or just to figure out if we are still there, where we are parked, etc.

Can't wait, sounds fun!

James

Hope you guys had a great get together. We get off work at 6:30pm and a long drive from Hawaii Kai. You guys would have been gone by the time we would have arrived. Definately would liked to see the different mods on the camaros. Looks like we have a good sampling of mods on the island to get a chance to take a look at them. I'm definately interested in the halo's and footwell lighting. Only exterior mods ive done are the rally striping and faded gills and nothing done to the interior besides tinting.

Hehe, it was a good time, there were 5 of us total, a 6th showed up (ABM) but he had a hot date in Chili's . And three of us were there til about 9:15 or so

It was fun because out of the 6 cars, everyone had a different color. I got home and did this since I meant to take some photos but was so wrapped up talking and ogling I completely forgot. We never made it into Chili's, we seemed to have too much fun outside by the cars. There was an older security guard that came up to us twice, complimented us the first time (we all smiled and nodded) and the second time he wanted to get his 2 cents in. After he left Craig said to me, "I was gonna walk over to the other guys (I was strategically placed in the WRONG spot) but I couldn't leave you hanging..." Thanks man

It was fun to put names to faces, get some good gouge on places that do work on various parts, and just talk cars. My wife says I'm crazy, but whatever... she just doesn't have the passion. Can't wait to do something again!

Cheers all!
James
