plus 1...good post klatter. the body style and lines of the camaro are just more badass to me.

Sorry to burst your bubble but the ZL1 was already a legendary nameplate, don't believe me? Look up the prices on one of the originals...

What's your logic here who say I don't have more money to blow than the guy with the shelby? I mean I did get my car cheaper.

This was all expected...want better acceleration numbers for the much heavier ZL1? do a pulley/tune upgrade. I plan on doing this soon...first things first gotta lower the car a bit, looks are killer on the ZL1 compared to the Shelby; seeing them side by side in that video I must say, the GT500 is ugly but it sure is quick in a straight line

You would prefer to discuss the strong points of the ZL1, then proceed. Though I doubt you own one so are not qualified. But lets see what you deem the strong points of this car. The Legendary ZL1, King of Strip/Road/Course. Yes, its a little good adjective I've given you to work with as a starter.

Now, lets just see how much positive you have to say!

The Z28 definitely holds a hallowed place in performance car history. For me the 1969 Z28 evokes memories of a time and place that will likely never be surpassed, but we can never go back, so, for me, currently the new ZL1 is the best vehicle to recapture the feel of that very special time and place.

The Pinto is infamous. So I see we are still arguing even though I, me, this guy taking time at 2:18 in the morning to post, already declared a tie. Argument over, it's a tie. The ZL1 handles better. The Shelby is faster. Nuff said. Really.

I'd rather be faster... can we swap and still call it a tie...

As sweet as the new ZL2 is, I'd rather have this beauty. It looks svelte rather than cartoonie. Absolutely beautiful. Wanna trade?
