Not a lot of brain surgeons out there. One guy told me his SS was on order, and he ordered
the chrome wheel option. I told them that's not an option but he insisted it was-
Sometimes your better off just walking away.

As far as the Auto goes, you get a lot of that crap here on camaro5.

I've never had anyone say anything ill about my Camaro (or any other of my cars over the years). I had a little kid come up to me at the gas station once and tell me, "My my likes your Camaro." Now my Corvette gets lots of spectators when I take it out (rare), and we just a few weeks ago bought a new Miata and I've gotten more positive comments on that than any other car I've had, strangely enough. Just this morning at the bank, my banker actually came out of the bank with me because she wanted to look at it after having seen me pull into the parking lot from her office window.

I can't recall any bad comments on any cars over the years.

Honestly I get compliments constantly.

No lie there are days that I'll run out and do errands all day and by the time I get home I'll have picked up 5 or more compliments. Everything from a guy say damn nice car or a kid going awesome to a cutie asking to drive it... lol

I was sitting in traffic in a parking garage with my gf. We both had our windows down because it was warm in the garage. Two guys were standing outside their cars waiting for the traffic to die down. Right as they became in line with my window (still open) one Guy is totally into my car because of its color and the other guy just says "Meh, Its a V6, why bother with that slow thing." I looked at him and said "Nice minivan bud, I almost got one of those but I still have my balls."
His friend died laughing and the smart-a** guy chuckled a little too.

I went to a McDonald's drive through the other day and the guy who took my order loved my car! It is a black on black car with red caliper covers and he pointed over to his Honda (a little ricer) but it had the same styling as mine ... all black with red caliper covers. I am not a hater and the car actually looked good so I told him so. Then his Manager came up and put in his $0.02. He asked how much hp - I replied 500. He then asked "why have all that hp and never be able to use it". Good point I guess since I am not really into drag racing/etc but who gives a crap? And how does he know that I do not use it for racing/etc (legal of course)?

I had a guy at the bodyshop tell me I screwed up my car because he don't like the too tone paint I did. just said thanks as he drove off in is Honda.

Someone asked me if my Camaro had the "hemi engine", I told him he had his brands mixed up. He tried to correct me. Asked him why would Chevrolet use a Dodge engine? He stopped talking and left.

Usually get compliments, once in a while I get the 'must be nice' sarcastic comment- to which I reply, 'Yes, it is.'

Most negative thing I heard was "You shoulda got it in red". Occasionally I hear 'mullet-mobile', but I use that one myself sometimes.

I'm not into red, silver was actually my first choice, with aqua blue being next. Most important to me was V6, M6, and RS. Hard to find combo around here. As far as red, I figured I would get nothing but 'mid life crisis' comments with red.
