I saw Flynnaz over in the Chipotle parking lot the other day by the foothills mall. Nice ride man. I'd have come in to find you, but I was on my way back to work from lunch.

This last weekend I took the car over to a local oil change place. I've been going there for 6 years and I know most of the guys and how they handle cars.
When they saw me drive up with the Camaro they were all debating on who would get the chance to change the oil. After that was all sorted out they were all suprised at how much oil is taken to fill it up with a filter. I swear they triple checked their system and even asked me to pull out the car's manual. (I was even shocked at first that it takes 8 quarts to fill up. )After it was done, the lead tech came to me and said my Camaro was the first one he had seen up close and had the chance to work on. He did ask If I wanted the window stick for the next change, but I declined since it will be back when it reaches 1k and 1,500 miles. What I really thought was fun, is they all stopped to work on my car, got it done fast and left another guy that got there before me waiting about 10 minutes longer than me.

Armysig, I changed my oil at 1100, it was very clean no metal fragments. This is just me but three oil changes within 1500 miles seems kind of a wast. I have built engines in the past and followed what you are doing, but these engines are put together slot better than in a garage. I thought I would share what I saw in my oil change. Either way you can't go wrong

Oh I fully agree with you that this is a little over the top, but I have raced ATVs for awhile and I have always found that a little more attention to care can go a long way. Maybe it's just my compulsive disorder wanting to make sure this thing lasts for a long time. ![]() After the 1500 mile oil change I'll be doing it every 3000 miles. Right now if something is going to happen I want it to do it now so I can fix it and move on. I have also gone over the top with the waxing and polishing of the car. My wife thinks I have dropped her and took on the car as my new wife...Can you blame her? This thing is beautiful !!!Funny story, My 4 year old daughter was in the back witha few of her Disney barbie dolls. Well one of them had glitter on the dress. That glitter is now covering my back seat. I swear it looks like a disco ball exploded back there. I have been trying for 2 days to vacuum it out. My next step is to get a bunch of duct tape and try to pick it up that way...Word to the wise, Don't let any Barbie dolls with glitter inside of a black cloth interior car...You'll be hating life....
