Sorry we missed ALL of you at the SMS Track Day today. Diana and I were the only ones that showed up. What gives?

We still had a great time without you. We "snagged" a 4th gen Camaro with our two-car caravan out there. So, not a total loss.

Jim showed up in his 2011 Ford Mustang Shelby. That's a hot car I must say.

The crowd was light so the track was more than available. Diana received a lot of Jim's training time. She turned off the traction control and went raw! Luckily, no spin outs.

Left a bit early to register my kid for Fall Little League baseball.

I plan on being at the IAS Audio Shoot Out and Car Show this evening. Be sure to drop by.

I'm not even going to post pictures because of the poor showing.

Sorry about the small turnout at SMS today! Hopefully I can make the next one!!!! 31st? When do we want to meet for our next meet and greet? We need to start planning and hopefully talking so that we get a good turn out! I think the 1st of August is the 1st Sunday of the Month....Hey Curtis...will you guys be out of town then? We could bump it to the 8th? What does everyone think? Maybe meet and do a cruise? If we plan ahead we can have someone reserve some parking for all of us somewhere and a table? Short and Sweet! Some place visible so everyone can drool!!!
Glad I stayed home today....I was sick and so was my dog! We all lazed around all day. Tomorrow is clean house day for sure!! And Bessy needs a bath and wax! Everyone have a great rest of the weekend!
Sorry, Bryan won't be able to make the show! I know it will be great and glad I could help out with the trophies! Enjoy!

Here are the photos for my custom stripes.
The final version was v15, yes 15, different versions, some very slight.
This final version was completed the morning the stripes were going to be applied.
I really want to thank Matt at MC Graphics, as he did a fantastic job.

Stripes in graphic form

Printed Stripe almost ready to apply

Done in the shop - This was emailed to me, I had to wait an entire day after getting this to actually see it.

Beth, very cool pictures. That car looks great!

Bryan, very nice gig this evening! You had some amazing cars there, and you have a very nice shop, and I am looking forward to working with you on my radar/laser protection system!

Yeah, Curt and I missed you all, but the 4th gen Russian guys were cool, and Robert sure can drive!, and Dennis took video when I gave him a ride, that he's supposed to send me! I really did have a great time today. I think I monopolized Jim, although he didn't seem to mind since there weren't a dozen people pulling on his shoestrings in all directions. I seriously think I did about 40-50 laps today with traction control off. Guys, this is really THE MOST FUN that we can have legally, so come on out and enjoy it if you get the opportunity!!!! Here are a couple pics I took. That 1985 porsche by the way was awesome and sounded amazing!

Looks like I missed you again Dianna, my little boy wanted to check out your car since he has been listening to me talk about it. IAS show was awesome, Camaro5 took the club trophy (my boy has the pics in his phone) so he'll have to post em since I know nothing about that stuff lol.

Diana! Sounds like you had a blast today! You go girl! I hope to make the next one!
I really liked the pictures of the white camaro....have even thought of painting mine white with silver and orange stripes....only because there are so many of the black one's out there and I like to be different! Don't get me wrong the black is nice! Just keeping my options open!
Hey Bryan....post some pics of the show! Would love to see who showed up. Did the trophies hold up? Sorry I couldn't make it....a little under the weather.

Remaining SMS Track Days

Here's the schedule for the remaining Cars, Coffee, Chili, and Speed (aka, SMS Track Days):
July 31st
Aug 7th
Aug 28th
Sept 18th
Oct 2nd
Oct 23rd
I'll miss July 31st and Aug 7th as I'll be on vacation. Hopefully a few of you show up to represent Camaro5 Albuquerque. I'll be at the rest of them.

I may be back in time for an Aug 8th Meet and Greet if that is what you all decide.

The IAS Audio Shoot Out and Car Show and Shine went well. There were alot of people who showed up. Bryan had hot dogs and hamburgers this time. Thanks Bryan for the great show even though Camaro5 doesn't like you posting these show announcements. We'll just do it through word of mouth.

Ocikat: Welcome to our chapter. I hope to see you at our outings. It's always a great time.

Andre: You need to stop that working crap so we can see you from time to time.

Beth: I'll see you tomorrow.
