Lol... I just got back from Canada, then Vermont, Maine and Massachusetts. Next weekend I'm going to a show in Pittsburgh. Can't I stay home one weekend with catching a bunch of grief!??

Well.... Got the LCA brackets in and the end links. Tomorrow (hope for cooler weather) Gordy and I can do the cradle inserts...

Moving right along.

I'm sorry hrpiii but I'm going to have to pass on this one. And you know I'm usually down for anywhere!!

Indy is a lot closer than New England...

Winter will be here soon and you can sit at home and dream of driving your Camaro for months on end.

Jason I bet you thought you saw the last of peer pressure when you graduated high school.

True that, and Indy is pretty much the closest of any of the places you listed.

We can probably get the front radius rod inserts & steering rack bushing installed at the same time as the subframe inserts if you are up for it.

Has anyone been going to Thursday Night Lightz at edgewater?

from what I was told, there were 700 people at the first one, and 1400 at last weeks.

There were 32 cars entered in the street car drag race- I guess to race you have to be on street tires and be street prepped. No drag cars. The fastest car was a 13 second mustang- he won $500 cash. The person that told me about it told me “you should have been there, you would have been guaranteed the win”.

no tree- all heads up racing.

$1 beers, $5 general admission, $10 to race. Live music, mobile dyno, and burnout contest.

www.thursdaynightlightz.com (I’m aware theres nothing here yet but maybe someday??)

Im thinking about going this week, but I’ll probably bring my bike.

I also swapped the body for a C2 Z28. (In short I traded it for three cars, a Corvette Z06r, a C2 Camaro Z28, and a Cadillac CTS Summer Performance package 3.6L DI with Aisin 6spd.)

When I get my new wheels in a couple of weeks, I might be interested. Sounds fun if a group of C5 folks went.

Josh said he has been a couple times, but hasn't raced. I'd like to go sometime.

Amigo... Pulling sub-13 seconds in a stock camaro would be tough dude. I know I couldn't but I think drag racing is boring. Done it 3 times in my life. Pulled a low 14 and high 13 in my corvette and blew out the rear end only time I ever ran the SS. Not for me. I like turning.

I really do love the 3000GTs... Have pics of yours anywhere? If you ever need any spare parts, I think I still have a few laying around, but I sold a bunch on ebay and threw others out.

I'm jealous though- I VR4 spyder is very very rare... worth more than your 2SS, so I'm surprised you have then nerve to drive it as a DD! AWS and AWD does fairly decent though!

Glad to see some other 3kgt fans out there!
Oh ok, so yours was a cloth top then?

Here are a few pics of mine. It's one of 140 in black. I actually bought it to drive as a winter vehicle, but i have had a hard time putting such a nice car into use for that. I love the AWS, i can take turns way faster than i ever dreamed of.

I am actually thinking about selling it soon. Haven't quite made up my mind yet.

I need a new screen name. I don't own my amigo anymore! lol..

I think he actually ran like a 13.4 . True that when I ran I was in the high 13s, its certainly more than possible... especially for those of us without stock camaros.

ahmen to the not-being-a-drag-fan. Its fun occaisonally, but I'm not a big fan.
