Oh and I seem to have misspoke about the halos, they have colorshift halos now http://www.automotivelightstore.com/...olorshift.aspx which from the way it sounds (I'll ask AAC if they can post in here and clarify) you can "tune" into a single color to run for extended periods. The video at the bottom of that page is pretty cool, not sure I would use half of those light shows but you never know.

Do we have enough people interested in the halo install for him to come out? You can add me to the list if someone is compiling one, but would need to know the install date a couple of weeks ahead of time due to some extended down time for installs during the next couple of months.

If anyone is able to post on other Hawaii 5th gen sites, or knows people that own that aren't on the board, get them over here...

I don't think we have enough regular C5 board members to hit 12, we need a bigger people base!

And of course, I am in on the halos.

And for those of us interested, I talked to my painter and he is going to email photos throughout the painting process, so you can see the transformation if you are interested. If I don't post the pics in here, they will be in the member journal section, and I'll post a link.

Cheers,

James

Only other site that I know of is the 808Camaros website. They are having a cruise this Saturday. I think to Windward Mall, meeting at Big Boys.

Leeward area raining... Windwind probably pouring... If it clears up, I may go out.

I'm interested in the color changing halo's, but I can't commit. I would like to see all the functions personally before I can commit to it. Sorry guys.

First cruise to Windward on saturday for me. Got lucky and got there just after it rained. Didnt rain again until just before I left around 9pm. Had 1 red, 1 white, 1 black, 1 silver, and 3 yellow 2010 camaros. Maybe another 5-7 1st-4th gen camaros. Pretty awesome site seeing all the 2010's lined up except the black one which was sitting across from us. Nice to see some different mods on the cars.

The 5th Gen camaros at Windward are from the 808camaros group.

I'll ask them at the Mililani cruise on June 5th. Looks like they are getting a group of 5th gen camaro owners together to do a around the island cruise starting that morning and finishing up at Mililani Shopping Center for the car show. I got a text from them this morning. If anyone is interested, please pm me so that I can pass on the information or any last minute changes.

The transformer camaro looked like it had different lights on his car, but since they were never turned on, I couldnt tell if they were the colored halos.

He had the orange/black two tone leather seats in his car and looked sharp. Also added the custom camaro ss black with orange trim foot pads? (cant remember what they are called, but those carpet things on the floorboard of the car)

There were only two camaros with modded exhaust. Both had Kooks headers and Corsa catback exhaust.

Cant wait to hear the sound of your exhaust.

group buy

Hey guys I run the local camaro club 808Camaros.com. I will send out an email to the members to see how many we can get interested to do this. I am interested and have also sent several PM's to AAC reagarding their holos. Maybe we can work out a group buy price as well as get them here for the installs....

Come check out our website and join our club we currently have 175 members. Membership and sign up is currently free.
