We all want our cars and we want them now. Good things come to those who wait. We will get our cars guys and they will be more than we could've hoped for. So sit back and relax and let these guys do their thing and fill us in when they have info.

I never buy the first yr of a new line up till they get the kinks worked out. I might hold out till 2012 cant afford 1 now anyway. Good to see they are fixing the problems though.

are SS manuals still being passed over for V6 and autos for submission, now that some of the SS manuals are being shipped again?

What about the cars that have already been delivered? Will there be any news on if any of them need to be checked out by the dealers?

The constraints are reported on a weekly basis. If it was reported as a restraint yesterday, it should be considered a constraint today. Wait until next Thursdays report to see if the LS3 comes off constraint.

So um... whats the evaluation process? A specially designated engineer takes every car and does a smoky burnout to see if it blows up???

And if so.... are you hiring for said position?

+1. Testing the cars there will likely lead to no insight with the VIN range of faulty transmissions...I don't think anyone here wants to drive around with the mentality of "Well, if it breaks I'll just tow it". The people driving with a ticking timebomb need to have an answer as well.

I suspected this was more than likely a bad batch of trannies. That Tremec TR-6060 6 speed is used in a lot of cars (Z06, Challenger, etc) and I've heard of very few problems. The one in my Challenger has worked flawlessly.

I'm sure it's some QA issue and will get sorted quickly.

After following this thread from the beginning, I have to say I have been quite entertained!

Thank you all for the continued entertainment. I've taken a patient stance on all this and just sitting on the sidelines waiting on "official" updates. Apparently the "Camaro gods" have shined on me for that. During all this mess Viz reported to me that I moved from 3000 TPW 27 July to 3400 TPW 20 July. That's full week upgrade.

That's like being bumped to 1st class.

Thank you FBod and Hylton for some real meat to chew on.

Waiting like the rest of you...
