I have both the GM Chicklets the GM Preformance and Backup Sensors.

Think the stopped around 49,999 the reason that it stopped is because it was a cost savings measure by GM....

I can answer that. The trademotion collision catalog has the GM badge of excellence on it. Therefore, they followed that.

My car is a 2LT, so it doesn't have the perfomance sticker. It was one of the last 2LT cars built without the backup sensors, and it has the GM chicklets as well as the factory plugs for the ambient lighting. Built on 9/2/2009

No Chicklets came on my car, but it does have the GM Performance Div under the hood, and back-up sensors. Thank goodness for the back up sensors... my garage is tough to get in... a friend gave me his chicklets when he took them off his car... I'm still trying to decide, but for now, they look good in my shop...

I didn't like chicklets as a kid, u needed at least three to make it
worth chewing. The only car with chicklets is my oh! six Monte Carlo.
I don't mind them, I just don't want to chew them

I see some Camaros with the GM badge by the lower front fender panels and some do not.

Aww, they should have kept it as a semi-cheap add-on. I would have paid an extra 25-30 bucks for one.

I am sure 20 years from now I will be watching MECUM auto auctions and see the camera on the badge and some announcer stating that it identifies the car as one of the first few made and it increases the value by 20k.

I talked to a rep of GM and he explained why they stopped doing them. Since he is a forum participant I will let him explain why but I am trying to figure out how to get them and put them on my SS. I am proud that I own a GM vehicle especially the Camaro and would be proud to show my support. Besides Chevy could make a couple more bucks off me when I buy them LOL

The small GM badge or chicklet along with the GM Performance Division badge were put on early produced models.

The early cars had them. GM was putting them on all GM products. My 2008 Enclave had them. GM decided to discontinue them a while back. Later 2010 cars don't have them.
