I actually like them, and having the option of either opening them as a scissor or normal door is even better.

I may be mistaken, but was it this kit the person used? Quite expensive if it is in fact this kit.

on anything but a lamborghini murcielago, or mercedes SLR

except on the camaro... they just FIT! I don't know why, but the vertical lines just seem to work together really well with the body.

looks kinda like bumblebee in transformed form

I would get them depending on price, install availability and quality (it really ruins it if it wiggles...
)

I think this style door only looks good with long thin doors like the Camaro has. The ones that look completely ridiculous are the more typical sedan doors that have more square shape to them especially with the window frame.

You know... the only reason that I don't absolutely say that this is a no go is for those times when you are in a tight spot. Lifting the door up as opposed to swinging that wing out might be safer. That being said I don't ever see myself doing this mod.
