The new vents look just like the spy pics posted in 2009, with the hood still under wraps....

LOL funny thread. But heres hoping for a new 1Le suspension package:

I would like the wheel/tire/Brake combo we see from the pictures as a start.
Do anybody know the size of the tires? it looks like 285-295 in front and 305-315s out back.

Well that's your opinion and that's fine ,but for me the looks are just as important as the performance it produces. When you see a GT500 there is no mistaking what it is. It has it's own identity. If I'm going to pay close to 50 grand for this car I don't want it getting mistaken for an SS or even worse yet a V-6(I get enough of that now). That car should look as mean as it is. If they keep the bland look that this test car has I won't own one. If I want performance only I'll keep my SS with the maggie.

Are there going to be different levels of the Z-28 like the LT and SS have the 1 and 2....? Whats the base price for a Z estimated at right now?

I hope there is at least an opportunity to get one without all the bells and whistles--I have no use for navigation, sunroof, or multi device capability

No matter what it looks like there will still be people that call it a Mustang and ask if it has a Hemi. Based on these pictures, its going to have a different exhaust, front fascia, side skirt, and rear diffuser. Thats more difference than between the SS's and the V6 cars, which aren't that hard for enthusiasts to tell apart.

what he said. . . .

there are many people that don't know the difference between a v-6 mustang and the GT500. it takes a car enthusiast to tell the difference.

I know one thing when I go somewhere with my buddy(GT500 owner) everybody knows what his car is and what it stands for. I've seen it over and over again many times.
That's what I want with this car. Those pics aren't a big enough change to make it different.

first the bolded part. just like before the camaro 2010 people complained about everything on the test mules. including :notheadlights: just because this is all you see right now doesn't mean that's all you'll get.

and that's the circles you run around. I guarantee you someone in that town doesn't know and doesn't care what kind of car your buddy drives. it takes someone that's semi into that car or segment of car to know the difference and care.

I can't tell you what the differences are on an evo, or it's counterpart. especially with what others are doing to their cars.

And that's why I said in my first post that I hope this isn't all their're doing in the looks dept for this car. I'm not the only one that feels this way about the looks either. My chevy buddies all agree with me that it really needs to be something special to set it'self apart. Once again if guys are happy with it the way it is buy one. There won't be one in my garage if that's all they do, and I already have money down on one.

Well, if they're changing the front fascia, the rear diffuser, the side skirts, adding twin tipped exhaust, badging, new wheels, and possibly a new hood and new spoiler ... what else do you expect them change?

and those people that would buy a camaro with a rear valance just cut to fit dual tips? um wow those buddies assume too little of GM. as Fbodfather has stated before during preproduction and the hiatus. . ."keep the faith." they will do the Z right.

The only big thing I hope is they don't slap on the wing from T3. that will be the first thing to go once I buy the car.
