Well as some of you may or may not know. I am planning on getting a 16 SS Camaro. Yesterday I said goodbye to Zooey. Trade in values keep dropping. As such I sold her yesterday before prices dropped anymore and fell below what I could stand/afford.

Seeing as I no long have my car and the stuff won't fit the new ride. I have the following Camaro stuff for sale. Contact me directly if interested.

This Sunday is a volunteer event / opportunity to help those affected by the storms last week in Holly Springs. Bluff City Mustangs are helping to organize this. We have been invited to join in and help where needed. The sheriff's dept have asked for volunteers through local news and this would be a good opportunity for us as a club. There will be other local car clubs and bike clubs joining in this event as well. We would meet at the soccer fields next to the CVS (5025 Highway 305 N, Olive Branch, MS 38654-3602, United States) at 8am on Sunday January 3, 2016. If interested please let me know.

Wear warm and comfy clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. Bring some gloves and you can donate canned goods/ water if you wish.

Below are the planned events for the year outside of the usual cruise in and random hangout.

Please vote here or facebook message for the events you are interested in. Any of the events can become overnight/weekend or vice versa.

Big Events:
Camarofest (location and date is unknown)
Super Chevy Show (April 8-10 at Memphis Raceway. Probably just go that Saturday on the 9th)
Super Camarofest (June 30- July 3 at Riverside Park in Ypsilanti, Michigan)
LS Fest (Sept. 9 - 11 at Bowling Green, KY)

One day Events:
Tupelo Museum (Bluff City Mustang may join us)
Bluff City Shootout - Bluff City Mustang vs Bluff City Camaro at Memphis Raceway. (possible twice a year)
Shiloh (with Music City again or by ourselves?)
Reelfoot
Trip to Boomtown, MO with Bluff City Mustang then BBQ for 4th of July with them.

Overnight or Weekend Events:
Tail of the Dragon/ Lost Sea Caverns (possibly do this with Music City depending on schedule)
Biloxi (Cruisin' the Coast - October 2 - 9)
Nashville and meet Music City
Mammoth Caves/ Corvette Museum
Woodward Dream Cruise (August 20)

Super Chevy Show cancelled at MIR. Will not be returning this year. Very odd.

Super Chevy is happening at MIR.

After some research and conversation with other Chevy guys we discovered the following:

There was a whole lawsuit over the use of the name "SuperChevy". Roger Gustin was given rights to it when he owned the event side of the business. When he sold out to the group of trackowners, SuperChevy Magazine wanted the name back. A legal dispute ensued for the last two years (I think) and it was recently awarded back to TEN (owner of SuperChevy Magazine), so now SuperChevy is "SuperChevy" but not really SuperChevy Show which Roger Gustin started. If you really want to confuse things . . . this will be SuperChevy's first year hosting the SuperChevy Show!

Club shirts- these are being negotiated with a vendor. More info as it comes available.

Club business Cards- we will need to order business cards fairly soon, and we will take up a collection for these so we have enough for members to pass them out and promote the club.
